  Thiruvalluvar College of Engineering and Technology, Vandavasi, a 15 years old college, was started in the 1998. Being a non-minority institution, this college provides professional education to all sections of  the students of Tamilnadu and also students from various other states study in our college. Many of the former students of our college are well placed in many MNCs and some are pursuing higher education in other countries.We have many experienced and well qualified teachers. Free education is given to some deserving students.  The motto of the college is “Learn Faultlessly”. With this aim in view, we cater to the educational needs of the students. Though our college is located in a rural area, devoid of modern amenities, our students are provided with quality education and we have the state of the art infrastructure facilities.

   Thiruvalluvar College of Engineering and Technology was founded in the year 1998 by Prof. Dr. S. Arunachalam M.E (Civil), PhD a Former Professor in Anna University and Former Syndicate Member - Anna University, Chennai. The Institution is approved by A.I.C.T.E - All India Council for Technical Education, New Delhi and Affiliated to ANNA UNIVERSITY CHENNAI. TCET provides an environment where all engineers can blossom into good citizens. We are committed to instilling pride and maintaining an atmosphere of dignity and mutual respect, as well as emphasizing scholastic achievement.it persistently seeks and adopts innovative methods to improve the quality of engineering studies on a consistent basis.The College has dedicated itself to the cause of knowledge & empowerment with special focus on technical education.
